Cakes & Treats policy

Custom orders:

We recommend ordering your custom cakes or treats 1 to 2 months in advance to ensure your order can be filled.  Last-minute orders may be rejected due to pre-booked orders. 

 

Custom Order Deposit & Cancellation Policy

We take bookings months in advance to ensure we can meet all the required deadlines for our customers. A deposit of 40% of the total cost must be paid on the day of booking your order.  We understand that sometimes cancellations can happen and for this reason, cancellations must be made 10 days before the event.  Please note, that there will be a cancellation fee of 20% held from your deposit at the time of the refund.  If cancellations are made after this time, you forfeit your full deposit. 

 

Wedding cakes are unable to be altered once confirmed.

Wedding cakes attract a 30-day cancellation notice via email to be eligible for a deposit refund.

 

Refund Policy

If a refund is due, all refunds will be provided as a deposit paid into a nominated bank account given by the customer.

 

Delivery Policy

We can deliver some custom cakes by prior arrangement to areas within 10 km of Londonderry, NSW. There will be a delivery fee applied to the cost of the cake if this service is required.

Delivery is only possible via prior arrangement and no changes to venue or time can be made within 5 days of the confirmed delivery date.

 

Local Pick-Up Policy

We encourage customers to pick up their custom creations from us at 117 Cherrybrook Chase Londonderry NSW 2753 on the agreed day and time. 

When your order leaves our premises any damages or discrepancies become the customer’s responsibility. If you send someone else to pick up your order, this becomes their responsibility. If someone else is picking up your order, they should know what they are picking up and should make sure they leave with the complete order. Inspections are the customer’s responsibility before leaving the premises. 

 

Transporting your cake or treats

Once the cakes or treats have been handed over, they become the responsibility of the customer. No refund or replacement will be given. When transporting your cakes or treats, keep them flat and avoid quick breaking, making sharp turns or placing anything on top of the box.  We recommend where possible to have someone assist by holding the cakes or treats to avoid damage.

 

Allergies

We take responsibility for any allergy-related issues arising from the consumption of the cakes or treats. 

Unless it is specified at the time of confirmation on your custom order, all products may contain or come into contact with dairy, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens.  

It is the client’s responsibility to inform their guests of any risks relating to an allergic reaction.
